Eldar 3000pts - Big Guns

3003pts {allowed to go to 3005pts}

Just playing around with the Eldar lists now.
Couple of questions on the below list.

1] G.Defs, can the weapon platform be transported in the wave serpent with the squad?
2] Maugan Ra would have to choose which to fire each turn, Quad Gun or his own weapon, correct?
3] Can I keep the G. Defenders squads in reserve at beginning of game?
4] Would there be any benifit giving the D-Scythes to the WG over their Wraithcannons
seeing as their there to protect the aegis def. line.


My thoughts on it:
The G.Defenders would begin in reserve and come on to hold objectives.
The aegis def line would be setup on my table edge in rear.
With the WG unit with the SpiritSeer in front of them. And farseer.
Maugan Ra mans the Quad with the Dark reaper unit next to him.
The 2 D-canons on either side.
Rangers setup in cover, hopefully and within range of Aegis line to cover it.
The WK and WS jump around targeting enemy units, hopefully one at a time.

-----------Wave Serpent: TL Scatter Lasers, Shuriken Cannon, Holofield.
------Vauls Wrath Support: x1 2 units. D-Cannons.

1) Yes, it counts as 1 infantry model tho. so you'd be using 11 of the 12 capacity.
2) He would have to chose.
3) You can reserve the squad and deploy the WS if you want to.
4) In my experience Quad Guns die to shooting, so a short range squad stood nearby isn't going to offer a lot of protection.
