IG Astropathic Relay

Anyone know if the Astropaths astropathic relay works while he is in reserve? I thought it was in the FAQ, but it doesn't seem to be.
I did a search and nothing came up ^_^

It specifies "while [he] is alive" for all the advisors. This doesn't require them to be on the table, just that they are alive. So, yes, it works while he is in reserves.

There are generally three levels for all of these special rules. Some, such as FOC swaps, work simply if the model is in your army lists, regardless of whether he is alive or on the table. Some, such as this, require him to be alive, but don't require him to be on the table. A few require him specifically to be on the table. This is the second case.
