How do?

Couldn't find the original thread (went back 5 pages, started to feel threadomantastic, so stopped there)....

But seeing some curious ads popping up again.

One was by Godtube, offering to tell me 'how same sex marriage will affect you (so me)' I suspect 'well, not at all' isn't the answer they had in mind.

And another? Getting Divorced? THEN SELL YOUR HOUSE!!!! 1) Very bad advice. 2) Not a home owner 3) Haven't even got a girly, let alone wife. So cannot divorce.

Any other crackers being spotted?

Yep me too, plus a load of Chinese girls looking for husbands, typically I also get tons of sports supplement adverts which actually I don't mind.
At the moment it's something called zendesk, no idea what that is.

I keep getting the one that says "If you have a DUI and want to immigrate to Canada, call us for legal help".

1. I don't have a DUI.
2. I don't even want to leave my couch, let alone my country. :)

Nothing wrong with threadmancy, where it's better than starting an identical new thread.
Or you have something new to expand the old one...

I wouldn't say it's wrong. You never see or hear anything, kids just think its funny, almost all adults will have had that happen to them at some point (either as the child or the parent) so what is wrong with playing up to the anecdote? If they had had a foreground shadow or a shot of the bed covers moving about, then I'd agree.

It's far more tasteful than posters for jeans or clothing companies where all you can see are the hips and up of a topless man, or perfume ads where all you see is a naked woman walking away from camera in shadow, which is all that is required for prime-/day-time airing. Admittedly the major channels don't necessarily, but it's not like you have to search through too many to find ones that do.

Oho!!!

Now I'm being offered Lesbian dating....

Now call me old fashioned, but one suspects I'd be even less successful in that scenario than I normally manage!

Kirsten

facebook has started suggesting lesbian dating to me every day in my news feed, facebook ads are definitely on the up, ad block doesn't stop 'suggested likes'.

Cougar's Don't Play Game, apparently.

Not sure why that's popping up, or why they think I'd be interested in a non-gaming-granny?

What? Cougars or Cougar adverts?

I tend to favour lass' slightly younger than myself (mid-20's upwards). Much younger, and I feel a touch of the Jimmy's. Much older, and I somehow feel I'm admitting defeat!

Psychosplodge

Can't at work!

Done it at home though.

Also - just had a flash forward in time, where EG has become a Cougar, and many young men are locked, weeping in sanitoriums.

I don't think I've typed catheter into the interwebs before this post and the one before!

If you click on the little, blue icon on the upper right corner of any advertisement that is served by ad sense you can update settings so that ads are more relevant to you - even if you don't have a Google account of any sort.

I tend to get a lot of alcholol and nightclub adds on Facebook, I believe it's purely because I'm 18 as I haven't liked any none wargaming pages besides a local aromatherapy shop on Facebook, unfortunately my dream weekend involving friends is to play either minecraft or warhammer or D&D and am not actually allowed to ingest alcholol because of medication I'm on

the unremovable popup adverts are back on mobile. Was on the starwars thread last night and had to delete browsing history to get rid of it.

Mr Mystery

Ditto.
I only seem to get the unavoidable ones if I follow a Facebook link though. Still very annoying and intrusive.

No it just popped up when I was halfway down the page I was reading. I normally avoid them having a windows phone they normally target the android/iphone market but not this one apparently.

I have a good one, Recently my girlfriends mom gave us a MASSIVE box of african antiques/art/artifacts that her boss gave to her when redecorating her office (btw i might add this sort of activity isnt abnormal her boss is a mega mega well off lady who doesnt need to work her job, for example she gets paid poker fridays) anywasy after a little bit of hunting and appraising the highest worth items, my entire add-trends have been reduced to adds for coco-butter products and hardwood walking sticks and antiques. thank you google

I HAD to click on it to confirm.
