Can I really justify £50 on it?
Yes...done!
Seriously apparantly you put the words "Limited Edition" and "Eldar" on something and apparantly i ignore common sense i buy things. May have to call it an early birthday present to myself

I'm just as bad. It's been so long since i've been able to buy any new Eldar toys, that every time something new pops up - i have to buy it!
I don't even play Iyanden...

With rumour of IA11 - DoM getting a version 2 in the same way that Taros did, thats another bit of a splurge on the horizon. Glad i didn't buy too many new models

I don't know if they said either way. I hope its just a pdf the books not that old, and my copies signed, i don't need another copy
Interestingly, the Iyanden book is under new Releases. Not advance order.

Hmm $40 for the Ipad verrsion. Odd since digital and hard copy Codexes are all the same price.

Wish I could afford it, not gonna moan about the price but I AM unashamebley jealous of those of you that can afford it :P It looks really nice and I'd love to read those 32 pages of backround...nice to see Eldar get this kind of attention - their last few releases were pretty stagnant when it came to fluff and new units..
Same price as a full Codex, but half the page count!?!?
Still going to buy it though.....

Somewhat more than half, 72 pages vs 104. Still a tad disappointing but for 32 pages of new eldar background I'm happy to pay it. Artwork too.

Well someone at GW can't count....how the hell does 50 gbp translate to 140 aud?
I also find it interesting that limited edition eldar books are still kicking around

I thought that too boarder, obviously inferior to the Glorious Tau Playing Master Race. :p

Collectors Edition has sold out on the UK website.
Psychic powers don't require cards to be used, they are just an extra, so probably not worth printing a few extra cards just for this supplement.

There is only one. Would be a waste really to print cards just for 1 power. They might release one for all the Craftworld, but I doubt everyone will get a new power, though it is certainly possible. It is unfortunate that Iyanden has to use the new primaris and can't choose.

I really need to win the lottery tonight...
Even if I did I still would not buy it.
GW has found a new way to make a profit.
Put out the regular Codex at an expensive price then put out supplemental Codex's that have less in them for the same price as the regular Codex.
Oh and to top it off put out Limited Edition Codex's and supplements for even a more expensive price.
Bank the profits.

Book arrived today...
Indeed thinner than the regular Codex but comes with a fancy 'dust jacket'
(honestly speaking I would have prefered to pay less for the book and not have the 'dust jacket')
oh well :-)

Silly GW. Trying to turn a profit.
Anyone would think it's what a business is meant to do!
