Can anyone tell me what the point costs of the new Codex Eldar vehicle upgrades are? Mainly interested in holofields how much are we paying for that sweet +1 cover save? Tau need to get a taste of their own medicine.

I'm pretty sure that sort of thing is against forum policy...

I don't want GW coming after this site.

They are, I think, 42% of the old price.

tau ignore cover saves, u would b wasting points, take a nightspinner or support battery, even a squad of reapers with starshot ignore their cover/jinx save instead :)

That wasn't a real answer either; the question was "what," not "where." OP clearly doesn't have the new codex yet.

Mine was, it just takes a bit of effort. Take the old cost, divide by 100, multiply by 42, round up to the nearest whole, jobs done.

Ignores Cover is only for wounds. :)

yes but instead of you all dancing around the issues and giving him a backwards answer tell him where to find it in the book and end the thread

and you are assuming he doesnt have the codex and hes playing the army because?

Because if they did ...they probably wouldn't be asking. It's not hard to find.

Ignores Cover is only for wounds. :)

pg 75 under vehicle section, 3rd bullet point under "vehicle and cover-obscured targets"

"if the target is obscurred and suffers a glancing or penetrating hit, it must take a cover save against it, excatly like a nonvehicle model would do against a wound (for example, a save of 5+ for a wood and so on).

Reaper rangefinder allows them to ignore jinx save....in case you are not aware :)

That does make them even more expensive than they already are.
