So this came up last night during a game. If you go to ground are you still controlling the objective

Yes. Page 123 lists the things that disqualify you from scoring, and Going to Ground isn't one of them.

Yep primary objectives can be claimed by a unit which has gone to ground but you cannot claim the line breaker secondary objective with a unit which has gone to ground
