Stand alone. It's a separate game using Epic scale aircraft.

Not quite true, a lot of the Collectors range is still there on the GW site, just the links to it have gone, you can find all the old Imperial Guard metal range here (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/armySubUnitCats.jsp?catId=cat1490994) for example.
