Guardian Support Platform

I have the Ipad Codex, so maybe this is coved in the hardback version, but there is no rule for how the guardian support platforms are supposed to work now. All I see is a new profile of T5 W1. So I assume that a guardian still has to fire it. Would that be instead of his own weapon like before? It is also classed as infantry and therefore no longer "relentless", which is unfortunate, but matters a little less now that you can shoot and then run. Not to mention that cannons are assault and very good now.

A guardian within 2" can fire it instead of their own weapon
Wounds are nominated on it as normal, but cannot take LoS wounds
