Kirsten

it does seem excessive yes, the way the home office are reporting it you would think he had tried to blow up the boat race.
on the other hand I do think his thing about protesting is bollocks. should immigrants be allowed to protest? no. citizens can protest the laws of their country, wherever they may have originally been born. immigrants do not get to protest the laws/society/government of somewhere they have chosen to come to.

That's why when coworkers ask me where I want to go for lunch, my one and only response is "anywhere where my meal died screaming."

To be fair that "mosque" is always being vandalised as it is a) in a remote location and b) has been in construnction for at least the last 10 years, it has been vandalisied as much as any other abandoned building.
Mr Mystery
06-26-2013, 05:45 AM
It's more what it's be vandalised with. The odd sweary? Yeah fair enough.
But racist drivel? Not in my country, thank you very much.
And yes EDL, it is my country, as I represent the educated majority who don't feel the need to make up for our shortcomings by victimising a minority.
Wolfshade

Sigh. A mosque isn't a symbol of a race, nor is a swastika.

The intent of the graffiti is clear, and are the connotations.
EDL need to sod off, and quickly. Their claims are as ludicrous as their chants. According to the EDL, 40% of Britain is 'muslamic'. Which of course, it isn't. It's closer to 4%. Damn that pesky zero eh?

Well it is supposed to be 117°F (47°C) here in the next day or so. Today it was only 107°F (42°C). Girls in the American South West tend to be a bit less (oh shall we say) "husky" than those in the more northern latitudes. They also tend to have attitudes.

Day off today. Just myself and the youngest. Started out with a full English in the pub, then down to the park. Then we went to see Despicable me 2. It was his 1st time to the cinema and he had a blast.
Back home now and just chilling before having to do the school run.
It's been a good day so far :)
