Well, nothing if not ambitious.
While threesomes sound great in theory, don't you think its enough effort pleasing one woman without trying to please two?

All hail MEGATRON!
Yesterday was too expensive :(
So go to replace my spoke, £15, the part costs 40p. Then noticed my tyre was bald, as in the canvas was showing through, and then front and back pads had no rubber left on them :grumble: ended up being 3x the cost, but on the plus side I can now stop.

You need work on your maths...
anyway. Tumblr always fill me with a warm fuzzy feeling.
I am a millenial. Generation Y. Born between the birth of AIDS and 9/11. Give or take. They call us the global generation. We are known for out entitlement and narcissism. Some say it’s because we’re the first generation where every kid gets a trophy for just growing up. Others thinks it’s because social media allows us to post every time we fart or have a sandwich for all the world to see. But it seems our one defining trait is a numbness to the world. An indifference to suffering.

They're talking about the Hipster generation. Those who grew up after the Cold War.

During a robbery, the bank robber shouted to everyone in the bank: “Don’t move. The money belongs to the State. Your life belongs to you.”
Everyone in the bank laid down quietly. This is called “Mind Changing Concept” Changing the conventional way of thinking.
When a lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her: “Please be civilized! This is a robbery and not a rape!”
This is called “Being Professional” Focus only on what you are trained to do!
When the bank robbers returned home, the younger robber (MBA-trained) told the older robber (who has only completed Year 6 in primary school): “Big brother, let’s count how much we got.”
The older robber rebutted and said: “You are very stupid. There is so much money it will take us a long time to count. Tonight, the TV news will tell us how much we robbed from the bank!”
This is called “Experience.” Nowadays, experience is more important than paper qualifications!
After the robbers had left, the bank manager told the bank supervisor to call the police quickly. But the supervisor said to him: “Wait! Let us take out $10 million from the bank for ourselves and add it to the $70 million that we have previously embezzled from the bank”.
This is called “Swim with the tide.” Converting an unfavorable situation to your advantage!
The supervisor says: “It will be good if there is a robbery every month.”
This is called “Killing Boredom.” Personal Happiness is more important than your job.
The next day, the TV news reported that $100 million was taken from the bank. The robbers counted and counted and counted, but they could only count $20 million. The robbers were very angry and complained: “We risked our lives and only took $20 million. The bank manager took $80 million with a snap of his fingers. It looks like it is better to be educated than to be a thief!”
This is called “Knowledge is worth as much as gold!”
The bank manager was smiling and happy because his losses in the share market are now covered by this robbery.
This is called “Seizing the opportunity.” Daring to take risks!
So who are the real robbers here?

The Sixth grade science teacher, Mrs. Parks, asked her class, "Which human body part increases to ten times its size when stimulated?"
No one answered until little Mary stood up and angrily said, "You should not be asking sixth-graders a question like that!"
"I'm going to tell my parents, and they will go and tell the principal, who will then fire you!" With a sneer on her face, she then sat back down.
Mrs. Parks ignored her and asked the question again, "Which body part increases to ten times its size when stimulated?"
Little Mary's mouth fell open; then she said to those around her, "Boy, is she going to get in big trouble!"
The teacher continued to ignore her and said to the class, "Anybody?"
Finally, Billy stood up, looked around nervously, and said, "The body part that increases to ten times its size when stimulated is the pupil of the eye."
Mrs. Parks said, "Very good, Billy," then turned to Mary and continued, "As for you, young lady, I have three things to say:
One, you have a dirty mind;
Two, you did not read your homework assignment; and
Three, someday you are going to be very, very disappointed."

Super hard work. It's hard to explain!
But yeah. In light of yesterday's revelation of evil deeds, I shone a little ray of sunshine. On a random Facebook page, saw a Mum saying about her son being bullied at school. As a former victim of bullying, sent a few words of encouragement, focussing on that day, distant as it may seem now when victim and bully meet as adults. The day the former victim gets to say to their bully four very, very special words.
What words are these?
Big.

But seriously, my wife has an income of 0 not because she chooses to but becuase she is too ill to work. Governement says here have some money, oh and while you are at it give less to local governement.

Mr Mystery

And once again it's something I should probably disagree with being a Lefty, but betray an underlying intelligence by thinking actually, dude has a point (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-25114890).
You see, what is the point in a fellow EU citizen coming to the UK just to claim benefits? So we should be tightening up on this to prevent people simply moving house to get the most out of being unemployed.
The T&C's proprosed aren't exactly harsh either.
Psychosplodge
11-27-2013, 07:30 AM
I think it should certainly be a longer waiting period, minimum twelve months. We already have plenty of unskilled labour available.
Though things like this just make me laugh at the SNP wanting independence, but not leaving the EU, they'll have less independence as a small country in the EU than as part of the UK now...
Mr Mystery
11-27-2013, 07:34 AM
Nah. I don't agree with minimum 12 months.
It's about going where the work is, which is sometimes speculative.
The current proposed rules aren't all that different from those affecting UK citizens. Consider this...if I am made redundant, I can sign on right away. But, if I walk out of my job, or am sacked, then I don't get any money for 3 months..... This is simply applying that in a mildly abstract way to EU citizens. Message sent is 'dude, if you're here to work, the moar the merrier. But if you're just here because, you know, maybe work....going to have to bring savings!'
Psychosplodge
11-27-2013, 07:37 AM
I personally wouldn't allow unskilled labour at all. But considering we don't even have full control of our borders anymore. It's ridiculous.
Way to solve the housing crisis *slow clap*
If you as an EU citizen moved to holland you wouldn't be entitled to benefits if you were out of work, so why should a romanian moving here out of work be entitled to anything?
Mr Mystery
11-27-2013, 07:39 AM
Housing crisis caused by selling off the stock, and a singular failure to replenish said stock?
Trust me. Those with the power don't care about the housing crisis. Keeps them rich.

Yeah looked at them, CAB says that if she had claimed before her 21st Birthday she would be entitled to everything, after that it is dependent on NI contributions, which as she was in full time education before being medically signed off is a problem.
Money-wise we are fine as we plan carefully, though it means I can't buy plastic crap as often as I would like.
With regard to being seen unwelcome, I think that that is a good thing after all if you are too generous then you end up being flooded by people looking for an easier deal.
Mr Mystery
11-27-2013, 07:47 AM
Indeed.
Plus, all decent reports (as in those not set up to prove immigration = worse than hitleraids) into immigration's impact on the UK has shown a positive impact, with migrants being noticably less likely to claim benefits than natives.
This simply helps to reinforce this, and discourage the tiny minority (going on offical stats) that do do the near mythical benefit tourism.

It's not immigration doing that champ, it's those with lots of money.
You see, those that made an early killing on the property market simply take the profits from each sale, and divide them down into a downpayment on more houses. 'Do them up', and then sell them on at a healthy profit, then rinse and repeat. Forcing prices up and up and up, until it gets to people with serious money who just sit on it and become landlords.

But we aren't building enough houses mystery, thats simple numbers. If the influx is anything like the half a million previous one (I believe that was the number labour eventually accepted? as opposed to the suggested 1M) it will effect it.
Mr Mystery
11-27-2013, 08:03 AM
Yup. But they'll be in exactly the same boat as everyone else. And for those coming from poorer countries (oh hai Romania!) arguably a far worse position, as they even those with savings will struggle.
Immigration is also two way. More Brits migrated out of the UK than Poles migrated to the UK. And a low percentage of the Poles who came over are still here.
Immigration is a fact of life, and one lied about so often (on all sides) it's really hard to see it from a straight forward perspective.
We won't see increased house building, on account those who make their pretty penny out the artificially inflated market want to keep it that way. Helps many are also politicians or councillors who seem keen to promote NIMBYISM left right and centre. All to protect their portfolio.
Thatcher's biggest failing if you ask me, not replenishing. Could have seen Britain to greater heights, were it not for the short sighted implementation.

I'm trying to sell mine. After the government scheme was annouced my house got more viewings.
Once you are on the ladder, house price is relative, getting onto it is the difficulty.
Did see a lovely 5 bed 50% ownership which would allow me to have my own man den and seperate bedroom. Only £100,000, but obviously you have to pay mortgage + rent.

No mystery because if it leads to more people on housing benefit, it leads to more greedy private landlords, and less availability us wanting on that first rung.
Mr Mystery
11-27-2013, 08:15 AM
Greedy landlords are greedy regardless. Whether benefits or private tenants, they'll keep on jacking up the prices.
And as with the reluctance to build, those same people will likely be landlords as well, and thus just as disinterested in any measure which might lower private rents.

I'm going to be a b1tch and say I don't like the walls, completely wrong woodwork for a medieval tavern aesthetic (depending on the geographic location anyway, are they Northern European/Scandinavian? Then it may be ok, not sure). Everything else is brilliant though.

So I'm going to be the local schools Father Christmas this year, 400 kids and 400 presents to hand out. Not sure how I got roped into that one but there we go. I'm guessing none of you guys have had the pleasure, but if you have do you have any tips. I'm not doing lap sitting, but I'm guessing just being big, jolly and a few who ho ho's here and there will do. Anyway I have had a little practice, as yes it was I that was masquerading as Santa right here on BoLs. So EG I can honestly say I don't know your father and Mystery your a very naughty boy :D. So anyway there we go. I'm Santa and on the 20th I'm even donning the big red clothes.

I'm posting this (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-25139185) as it's probably the saddest, most depressing thing I have heard in quite some time. Basically, a disabled Iranian refugee is beaten death and has his body torched by his neighbours after being falsely accused of paedophilia. He was arrested by police after taking photos of young people around the area, following complaints from neighbours. They found no evidence of any illegal activity on his part. In fact he had been trying to get evidence of yoofs who kept stamping down his flower beds, having been told that without photographic evidence, the police couldn't do anything. He was released back into the community, with no police protection or attempts by them to inform the community that he had done nothing wrong. They then failed to act on several calls he made to them between his release and his murder. The most shocking thing for me? That this happened in July and today is the first time the story has been given enough coverage for me to hear about it. Read the full article, watch the video and weep for humanity.

Unless you've murdered someone, committed armed robbery, or are doing 35 in a 30, the police aren't interested. Well unless you're doing something that effects the establishment.
