Hello Bols Fans,

I'm curious as to if there are any notable battles, or any written accounts, of battles between the Necrons and Tau Empire? Having a hard time finding them in the written lore and not seeing them in the new tau book. Also willing to look at any account in general so if you have it, throw it out there!

I've read the novels already, just FYI. Except Ciaphas Cain, so if you which of those have my favorite tin men in them, I'd appreciate it.

The Tyranid codex mentioned in the timeline that when Hive fleet Gorgon was attacking Tau space, the dead moon of Ka'mais wakened and a Necron fleet joined the Tau to defeat the Tyranids. The Ethereal Aun'taniel welcomed their saviours in great ceremony.

The Necrons slaughtered him and the Red Harvest of Ka'mais began.

Thank you. What page is that exactly? And what edition?

Page 21 of the current Tyranid codex, spread across three timeline entries.

One issue is that the Tau empire is very centralised and only occupies 30ish systems. The Necrons are equally only in some systems, and the two don't overlap very much.

Whereas the Imperium with thousands of systems has a much greater chance of encountering a Necron world
