Best Loadout for an Acothyst?

Basically I'm trying to decide between the flesh gauntlet, stinger pistol, scissorhand, hexrifle, or venom blade. Preferably I'm looking for the most cost effective yet reliable/versatile weapon.

For cost-effectiveness it's hard to beat the venom blade. A mere five points nets you an increase from Poisoned (4+) to Poisoned (2+) and thanks to 6th Edition you no longer lose an attack for doing so.
