In May last year I returned to 40k after a break of around 16-17 years! I went back to my first ever army, the Ultramarines, this was the result...

Some things I'm happier with than others, parts of the command squad and 3rd Company Captain I'm relatively happy with, the Calgar conversion I like too, I'm also not entirely unhappy with the grey knight terminator but I realise some things like my highlighting is just poor and I need to work on my whites.
I think my painting is improving albeit slowly! I realise there's a certain quantity over quality feel that these guys have but the next armies (Word Bearers and a Gondor force for WotR) should benefit from the learning experience... plus I'm sick of painting blue!
