This has been running in the ks thread but hit the main page on BOLS and is perfect for 40K players looking to cover a 6x4 gaming table with modular sci-fi scenery.

Scenery apparently clips together using connectors that mean you can them unassemble it again and build it into something else.

Love them or hate them, Mantic are offering a limited number of discounted scenery only pledge levels known as early birds over on the deadzone kickstarter (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1744629938/deadzone-the-sci-fi-miniatures-board-game).

Not sure if anyone would know, but I'm award the Mantic fantasy range tends to be very slightly smaller than GW's house scale, and a friend got burned by the scale on that hex terrain being a bit too small (kit was otherwise fun!). Based off their SciFi range, will this suit GW scale?

The page says the tiles are 3"x3", and I believe the City fights stuff is 3x1 1/2" so it should definitely be fine. An Enforcer is the same size, if not taller, than a space marine I think.

Interesting....

May just be able to interchange this with GW stuff..... Hmmm.

Also, in case anyone gets the wrong end of the stick...that Hex Builder terrain - No issues with it. The scale thing was down to my mate not researching properly, rather than misleading advertising. No issues with kit or company!
