I am new to the site but an old gamer. I have seen Warhammer evolve wonderfully over the past twenty or so years,and I love it. Something I don't love is all this talk of "allies" REALLY? Now while I see alot of fun with this concept, say for instance since I have been collecting GW models for 20 years I have a Blood Angel army well over 10,000 pts and another 8,000 or so Imperial Guard (steel legion) and to put all that on the board would be awesome, but I would NEVER play an IG list with say unit of Death Co.to give me some serious close combat prowess. That is WEAK! Everyone seems to be jumping on the allies band wagon. I don't get it. I would hate to rip on someone else doing what it takes to win, but if you have to take the best bits of other armies to make a winning force you need to pick a different army(or game) to play.
