So, I'm planning on adding some dual DCCW dreadnoughts to my pre-heresy Iron Hands. The Talon is going to comprise 3 dreadnoughts, all with dual DCCW, designed to be an armoured assault force (as the ranged assault will be the job of the Contemptor Talon).

But what secondary weapon do I take? The only options I believe are worth it are either dual plasma blasters (18", str 7, AP2, assault 2, Gets Hot) or graviton guns (18", ap4, blast, strength test or take a wound, template stays in play for the enemy turn, becomes difficult terrain).

With dual plasma blasters, that's 12 str7, ap2 shots per turn - truly terrifying stuff. But the Gets Hot rule...

As for the graviton, well, it's weird, and therefore unexpected, and while it's less killy, the ability to create a patch of difficult terrain will counter possible pre-emptive assaults.

At the moment I'm leaning towards the plasma blasters because awesome. In the literal sense.
