Army builder and IA1 book

I updated to the newest edition of army builder and found some things from the IA1 book are legal for regular games. Is this a new thing and if so when was it added? I have been out of the game a few months and this is new to me.

Well, that's when they started stamping things in the books at least.

On Army Builder you have the option to disallow Imperial Armour selections, if you'd prefer.

I'm not on my computer now, so I can't check definitively, but from memory it's the bottom left box marked Special Rules on the Army Selection Screen.
Open that and just uncheck what you don't want to appear in your available options.
