Quick question. chaos vindicator has vindicator cannon. i also pay for and take a havoc launcher. rules state any weapon at or under str.4 is considered a defensive weapon. havoc launcher is str.5. So my opp. gets a weapon destroyed result. can i then say cannon is fine, havoc launcher destroyed? thanks in advance.

No, because a Weapon Destroyed result allows the attacker to decide which weapon is destroyed. Your attacker could, however, decide he'd rather destroy your Havoc launcher than your Demolisher cannon.
