Morning all, just finished my Tau Commander and thought id share it with you all.

the highlighting is a little heavy handed, but the overall scheme looks great. The pose is absolutely cracking though :) I'm guessing the rock on the base is acting as a counterweight as much as decoration?

I like this model. For the highlighting I think you've got the right idea. But it can help to go back over it with the main color and clean up some of the lines. A little touch up here and there to even them out. As your commander is going to be a main focus of your army, it's worth the extra time. Fun figure, keep it up!

I agree that cleaning up the lines would serve you well, but it's still an excellent model. Good job!

And yes the piece of gravel is to balance the model.

Maybe give it a wash to tie it all in?

The piece of gravel has been undercoated, base coated and had two layers of drybrush. I'll probably add grass to the model and have it around the base of the 'stone'.

It's obvious to me that you have gone to a lot of effort to do the edge highlights on the model, great deal of patience too. It's paid off. I love the Farsight scheme. Good job.

Thank you for painting this particular model in the Farsight Enclave color scheme, it looks great and motivates me to finish painting my own Farsight list!

Funny thing is, im not doing the Farsight Enclave I just liked the colour scheme :p

Also im using Mephiston Red as base and not Khorne.
