Afternoon folks.
Just received an email from Director Stuart Urban.
16 years ago, he released a criminally little known film exploring the fetish scene, called Preaching to the Perverted. Exploring not only a fairly shadowed scene, but attitudes towards it from the authorities. Whilst not a documentary, it is a real eye opener, and an awesome little film. It's neither tawdry or explicit, but really quite honest.
And now, the 35mm original is degrading, and a Kickstarter has been launched to raise funds to pay for its restoration to HD quality including the sound.
If you've ever seen it, you'll know what I'm on about. Even if you're not into the scene, if you love indie cinema, then support this project!
Given its rather adult theme, I won't link from here, but feel free to PM me for a link. Pledges start are just one measly pound, and the target itself is blissfully modest.
