New to BoLS might start lizardmen

Hey all, I play skave and was wanting to try something new, I was considering lizardmen. How is the battalion box? It looks like it would be a good purchase. Thanks for the help.

As far as I'm concerned the lizardmen have a pretty strong battalion box. Temple Guard are strong considering everyone takes Slann for their Lord choice, Saurus are always a good choice, Skinks make damn fine skirmishers. The only thing in the box that aren't commonly seen are the Saurus Cavalry and even they aren't a bad choice. They just compete against other things for the special slot which are better.

Now, if you plan to buy your army all at once.. I'd suggest you either build slow or wait as lizardmen are rumored to be in the queue for a new book later this year and they will likely see some new units and/or resculpts.
