So I am getting ready to dive into painting (haven't put brush to model yet), and through research I discovered Darren Latham. Can anyone guide me toward articles/tutorials/books by him, or other resources? I'm especially looking for some of his 4th Ed Daemon work.

Never heard of the guy..........just go with the GW painting guides to start.

Darren Latham works or worked for 'Eavy Metal, (useless info; Kerry Latham works in GW HR!) He is an amazing painter. I have a folder at home with WD painting articles all stored in. after work today I will have a look through for you Sovereign.

Wow, thanks! I wish GW would make a compilation book of their WD painting/hobby articles.
