Tesla Destructor and the "tesla" rule

I played my first game with my Necron force this weekend, which was a BLAST; but when i was using my night scythes I couldn't figure out how the Tesla rule works with its destructor, as it uses the large blast and doesn't roll to hit. Could someone shed some light on this for me?

You're looking at the wrong statline somewhere, the Destructor is Assault 4, no blast.
