Hi

so I was looking at my farseer and thought "should i start a painting log?"
so I did:D (it was convinient timing with challenge Not for it:cool:)

sadly i dont have photobucket so piccys in attatchments

the items below are
converted shreiker jetbike
mechanicus insertion droid (2 vechial sprues)
converted jetbike (avenger body slide front plate forward)
Exrocists (sadly cant have 2 heavy weapons in GM bodygaurd)
hulk cape
blood angels rhino (i like primarchs in armour)
farseer (death for wraithgard arny)

and some eldar questions
a)would Epic wraithlords work as wraithguard (im not paying£80 for 1 unit)
b) best use for hawks Convert, Play??

Epic wraithlords are tiny- like the size of gretchen, so they would not work. However Epic Eldar Knights might work, although they are slightly smaller than wraithguard.

As for the Swooping Hawks, I just finished painting one and it was pretty fun. First Eldar model I've ever put paint to (I'm a Marine kinda guy), but for gameplay, most people don't take them, especially in competitive play. Now, for friendly games, use whatever you want, but the Hawks are fragile so you have to use them in tricky ways.

Do apply primer before painting your models?

@consadine: yeah i'll look into it and yes i apply primer just wanted to take a break from painting Space hulk so built some eldar
