Basically an interview with the developers looking at how its different from the board game, hows its the same and how it looks.

Imagine Space Hulk the Board Game, mixed with elements from the new XCOM. With 3D engine and highly detailed lighting

I played the new XCom game and every second of that experience I was telling myself "Someone HAS to take this engine and power it to the 41st millennium."

Oh Hell YES! Seems like the guys in the studio really want to do Spacehulk as well, rather than GW wanting to get a studio to understand what spacehulk is and how to do it, which sounds encouraging.

Having only played a little of the old Dos game, and never having had the table-top game, I am seriously looking forward to this! I don't even feel like a proper 40k player (let alone NID player) without having gone through space hulk!

So looking forward to this but was hoping it would see a release on android as well as for iOS. Ah well will just have to get it for the laptop instead

"your tactical squad"

just because they are in tactical dreadnought armour does not make that a bunch of ork-fodder

The new screenshots are inspiring more confidence than the original press release photos.

Turn-Based, checked. Absolutely Turn-Based, checked. No shooter, checked. Me want this now! Why is everything fun coming after the summer (this & the new Eldar codex)? Put them out now, so i can enjoy the summer in peace and donīt have to count the days :)

Ok, silly question as I'm a steam noob, but is steam (the one you linked to) only for the PC version?

I guess I buy through google play store for the android version?

Umm - hate to be the bearer of bad tidings "Cross platform multiplayer between Windows PC, Mac and iOS"

No Android as of yet

Hah, reading comprehension fail, or just not reading in the first place.

I'd probably prefer a pc version anyway. I like the Asynchronous turn based, means I can take my goes as ans when vs a friend.

Might be just me, or does $30 sound like just a little too much for this?

A faithful translation of the board game, playable single player or online with anyone on any platform, synchronously and asynchronously, and a map editor at some point in the future? I think $30 isn't a bad deal for all of that. How much was it the last time they released the box, and how much would it cost you to buy a copy of the board game now? And you can always wait for a Steam sale if it seems too much for you.

If it wasn't a GW property, it would be $19.99 (like the newly released Shadowrun game). That said, I have my pre-order in

The box set was released at $100(CAD), it would cost you about $175 to buy the board game now. I know this because I have it still in the wrapper in my closet, waiting for it to go up in value :D And that is a fine point, I'm more than happy to wait for a Steam sale.

One advantage video games have over the board game. The majority of sales won't be from *******s tearing the box apart to eBay the minis or hoarding unopened copies in their closets.

Then again, piracy.

I know of someone who has pirated a board game. He took scans of the playing pecies found online mounted them onto foam board, thanks to his works printer being able to print direct to it. Cut them using a cutting machine and the end product looks great. But had he had to pay to do that it would have costed more than the entire game...
