great battle standard bearer, stands out nicely. the other models are very nice, but don't really stand out as lords or heroes, unit champions maybe.

Im going to order these over the weekend to go with the goblin set i picked up last weekend. Im guessing the book will be out not long after the release of the orc command set (would be nice) Im a greenskin and dwarf fan so this book is on i am going to get straight away.

I ask as I'm wondering if Dwarfs will get a new army book before the Warhammer Forge book comes out. It seems odd to be releasing a bunch of new stuff for Dwarfs while they still linger on a 7th ed army book (especially when Empire and O&G will have one).

I hope they get the new book too, the old book is whats stopping me playing my dwarfs as i dont like the layout and a few other things in it.

Not before the WF book unless it is spectacularly delayed. Fairly sure Hastings said Dwarves were on the cards after High Elves and Lizardmen but I forget if they were right after or one of several books planned for after. Probably next year though if GW keeps up the current pace.

Not sure about these, pretty good but - I loved the FW Chaos Dwarf style and had thought we might get something a little more special... Avatars of War in my humble opinion have got some great Dwarf hero types that surpass these. Depends if you mind using non official I guess.
