Hi everyone,

In an effort to be more active about taking pictures and communicating a bit during the long hours spent painting every day, I thought I'd start a paint blog of current commissions coming in. I'll (hopefully) be updating regularly with WIP photos and finished projects.

I hope you all the pictures and I welcome any feedback!

For starters, here's a commission that I've been working on for a week. It's going to end up being around 100 foot sisters with 5 or so rhino chasis and a few penitent engines. The commission is of the basic level we paint.

Little more work finished up today. I added in a few Jump troopers as well as a pentinent engine.

Not bad, not exactly my taste though but good work! (I prefer dirty, darker models)

Nicely done Rhino there but can't help but notice that the bolter barrels and smokestacks have not been drilled out which detracts from the paintjob somewhat.

Nice, i have 400...but i gave my friend 100 lol! (I love painting my army other then these buggers) Anyhow those are cool chaos man what type of Brushes\paints do you use?

I sway back and forth between GW (ease of purchasing..have a shop about 10 minutes away) and Windsor Newton Series 7 brushes. I typically use a 1 or 3 and on vehicles use a large GW dry brush. I've got a badger airbrush as well that I use occasionally on vehicles, though lately I'm liking the organic feel of brushing vehicles.

Hmmm same as me almost except i can't FIND windsor and newton brushes here for some odd reason......... Nice to see someone happy to post what they use!

Have you tried eBay for the brushes, it's where I get my Series 7 brushes from.

I really like the ultra marines rhino, the script and free hand finish it off nicely.
