only bug to bear with what is an excellent pair of models is the base. i would of thought having the ruins completely filling the base would of been a better way to go.

It isn't that it isn't eldar, it's that lately it has just been armour variants of different variants.:rolleyes: I mean I get the necessity for MKIII assault squads and heavy weapons squads nd so forth but marines in different poses gets quite boring. Things like this and the EC contemptor are much more interesting.

Not everyone is pleased that the ONLY non Horus Heresy release since I believe November has been a zone mortalis board.

I'm well and truly fed up with it TBH. Other resin shops are getting my business since they at least put up the pretense of placating people who want to play something other than space marines.

Love the model. Wish FW could have thought the base through. Look through the pictures and you see they stick out. Shame because it means it only a 9.9. I know its knit picking.

Really nice figures with a great sense of movement and imminent violence about them. I have to agree though that the base somewhat lets it down, especially after how good Angron's base was, this looks half-hearted by comparison. While I only play Space Marines and have AGES to wait for them to release anything specific to my Imperial Fists, even I'm fed up of nothing but space marine releases. Bring on the Necron's and IA12 I say. Variety is a good thing.

What exactly is worse about Space Marines than any other army?

The fact that every other army gets neglected in favour of them, which in turns more players pick a Marine army, which means there is more demand for Marines, so they continue to be neglected? The fact that there are are more entries in the Space Marine dreadnought section of the FW website than there are in any of the Xenos armies entire sections(except the Orks who have 54 entries to SM Dreadnought 50)?

If you can't see why the continued focus on Marines to the detriment of other armies at best engenders tedium and at worst rage in xenos players then thre is something wrong with you.

And before you complain about people complaining about a marine releae, you brought it up. I just aid I was expecting another boring friday and was pleasantly surprised.

Thanks for your e-mail. Whenever we release a new book, our releases are generally slanted towards that army. You may recall the large quantity of Ork kits that were released in the 6 months or so after Imperial Armour Volume 8.

The next Imperial Armour book, Volume 12, will feature the Necrons; it's a reasonable assumption that there will be a load of Necron releases alongside this as well.

Im a SM player and except for the primarch and this the constant flood of SM is dull. It would be cool to see the xeno scum get some new toys to throw at my guns.

The figurines are just really good. Just ordered them! Abaddon will advantageously replace the current version by GW in my CSM army that was getting a little old (even if on its release I found it very enjoyable)

I sympathize with Xenos players...especially since Dark Eldar are my 40k army, but why does every single HH release thread turn into a "wtf FW where be my Xenos?!?"

You'd think people would be a little over it by now. FW, by it's own admission, is making more money off of HH and SMs in general than all other armies combined. Hell, they probably sell more Contemptors than Xenos models.

I mean, my HH army is the VIth Legion, but I don't cry when EC, SoH, DG, and WE get a release.(well ok I have...but it was just that one time I swear!:D) These are the armies in Betrayal.

Seriously, just stop please. There a ton more releases to go from Betrayal and after that...well you've got the Dropsite Massacre. It's not going to change any time soon.(unless you play Necrons) Save yourselves the heartache and stop expecting anything to come out for your armies. I understand it's easier said than done.

I wasn't singling anyone out trust me. It's just one of those things you always see on 40k message boards in general. The sentiment is completely understandable to me. It's just that its reaching cliche levels. Like any time we see a new release plugged on the main page we can expect a Tau player to pop up. Or when Tyranid players were waiting on their second wave back in annals of time.

Heh you think you guys have a long wait for the Primarch model you want, it'll likely be the last book of the entire series before they do one for Rogal Dorn. Still they are putting out plenty of nice stuff in the meantime, I will be getting a trio of Rapier Laser Destroyers when I can scrape the cash together cos a battery of heavy tracked cannons (and a couple Thunderfire Cannons to go with them) seems suitably Imperial Fists to me.
