I look back on 3.1 with a lot of fondness really. I grew up with it, I still remember hacking Metroid ROM's, playing on mspaint and messing about with Sound Recorder which was what lead me to becoming an electronic musician.

I liked gaming on DOS, install the game, it invariably wouldn't work, type in random commands until it did work...

And do you recall having to under clock your system so that the games would work at the correct speed?
