Maybe, but it's not surprising. GW's focus is on getting models for all the new units in a book out to avoid the Thunderwolf fiasco (hence the advacne waves for Daemons and WoC, not to mention actually updating all the armies before releasing a new edition. If they get all that done then they can redo old models for a second wave.

I rather like the Tzeentch chariot and the Khorne and Nurgle heralds. The Nurgle Drones and the Khorne Cannon are... eh... not my thing (to keep it nice).
