So a little bit of a back story I've been trying to build a Dark eldar army for years, but like many things I've been drawn back to the Darkness....

How the army stands as of this moment:
http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii27/Lt_Gregor/Dark%20eldar/7armypic.jpg

The Finished stuff:
1 Archon
2 Incubi
30 warriors
1 raider
8 wyches
5 Warp Beasts w/ Beast Master

Paint in progress:
2 Raiders
3 Helions

I recently discovered 4 additional raider/ravangers, and am beginning building 5 New Incubi for my army.

Some of the work in progress:

Looking pretty solid. Your Incubi need more spikey bits, though.

Those Warp Beasts, are they Cold One models?

I think the right choice was made in using regular Eldar helmets, the DE ones are so....tall. Have you considered mixing sprues with the Fantasy Dark Elves?

I like what you've done with the wyches. I'm using demonette bits in mine too.

What did you do with the raider in the first pic. Is it a scratch built, or have you just added some form of enlarged plate over the center and side decking?

Yep I got some Cold ones for my Dark eldar Infantry then used the left overs for Cold ones.

Looks pretty good, man.

Thanks

Yeah the "normal" DE Helmets are way too big and look like coat racks. As for Dark elves I've been buying corsairs for hand weapons and heads.

Man the moment I saw the new plastic Demonettes, Plastic wyches became a reality. As for the raider I re-cut the Haul and made a new deck for them.

Well these boys are Dark Eldar Incubi, for my Archons retinue. The actual war gear states they have "pistols built into they're helmets" I personally don't like way they look on the models so here my second best case.

So the group with the painted boys:

And the two new boys:

Dark Eldar! Someone is doing dark eldar! I am amazed.

They look great, but I would like to see more pictures of painted models.

very nice, and I think the simple head-swaps do ALOT to make the dark eldar warriors look alot lot better :)

Thanks, but sorry I only got about 49 fully painted models, 30 of them are warriors, 8 wyches, 5 Warp Beasts, 2 Incubi, 1 Archon and 3 raiders in various stages in paint.

It's not just head swaps, the torsos are dark eldar the rest are dire avengers cut/reformed.

So updates, I've been working on raiders mainly yesterday:

Still a lot of surface detail and platform reinforcement to do.

Also I started working on the gunners, I saw on another web site this way of basing them so I can paint them separate:

Very cool! I'm loving the Wyches, and that Raider conversion is wonderful!
