DA scout loadout

Hey all,

Just wanted an opinion on a loadout for my scouts. I got the scout to be a cheap (money wise) addition to my DA army. I got a box of the none sniper scouts. I was thinking of loading them up with all shotguns and giving the sarge a plasma pistol. Have use scouts to hide out close to the enemy and pound them with shotguns first turn. I may also add a heavy bolter in because it can snapshot even if they move. Any thoughts on how well this tactic will work?

Without seeing the rest of your army list, i am not sure how effective this will be. If you're planning on putting the heavy bolter in, i would probably just give the squad boltguns and let them park in some area terrain and hope that they cause some damage. you've got what, 5 scouts in a box?

Right now my list is everything out of the dark vengeance set. I wanted the scouts as a cheap addition to my troops to make it playable without needing a special character to make the terminators or bikes troops. Yes it is 5 scouts in the box.
