Psychic Shriek is amazing. made my LD test, rolled a 17, minus 8 for opposing LD. Boom. 9 models deadified. no saves no nothing. am I doing something wrong? Cuz thats just nasty.

You are doing right in that that is how the mechanic works in practice. You are doing in wrong in that you should probably roll lower next time.

And yeah...you did roll a double 6 and a 5....thats pretty exceptional

Whats even better is when you can combo it with a full psyker battle squad to make the unit its aimed at leadership 2.

This is the sort of thing they meant when they made "Psychic Devastation" a tagline for 6th ed.

Well if you rolled to hit, then you did it right. It won't always be that good, mind you! It is considered a very good power though.

Yes. 1000x times yes. Though fortunately the last time a friend used it, he hit Mephiston and I rolled under his Ld.

Slight correction on my part - Doom of Malan'tai with this replacing Cataclysm + Mycetic spore then blessed by Endurance to gain Feel No Pain & It Will Not Die = MEGA PAIN.

Just had to say it - you've jinxed Eldar now. They'll have a psychic power that wins the game on a 3+. In fact, set the book on the board, and your opponent has to pass a Leadership test on 3D6 on their Warlord or die....

And yes, the Doom of Malan'tai with this power is mega-cheese (as if it wasn't already bad enough!)
