I'm just getting some of the new finecast models and I want to start them off right. I normally use Plastic model cement for my normal miniatures because I'm more of a collector and I really don't want them falling apart, ever. But that cement doesn't work on Forgeworld Resin and I tried a dab of it on some leftover parts from a Finecast model, which also failed to work.

So my question, what would be the best glue to use for resin models? Superglue? And would I need an accelerant or would it be fine to use the superglue without any?

Superglue, no accelerant needed.

just remember to wash all minis.
release agent stops both glue and paint from sticking.
some people spray a light clear coat prior to paint, just to make sure

a good scrub and then use zzap the stuff works like a charm and fill even minor gaps!

Scoring the surface with an exacto razor helps too; gives the glue some cracks to hang on to.
