Are those paladins? They seem a wee bit large, although Titan's size it very much at the mercy of the artist and the epicness of the composition. Still, nice to see them going at it!

christ that is awesome! Those, my friends, are how titans originally looked in adeptus titanicus. Warlord Class, and in my humble opinion far superior to the stacked eggboxes that passes for titans today. So I now hope FW actually does an HH warlord because that would be awesome...

Yeah if they do a Warlord Titan I would hope that is the older Beetleback style from the original Epic Space Marine game. They were so much cooler than the boxy type ones nowadays. There was a huge range of weapon options for them too, the Chaos ones could even have tails!

I vaguely recall reading that the Mars pattern beetlebacks from FW are more popular than the the other type so when they get around to making a Warlord it will probably be a beetleback. Don't quote me on that though.

The art is rather nice.

although i love the beetlebacks dictato will forever be the ultimate warlord titan in terms of design. i could have hugged mr. abnett when he name dropped hekate in titanicus.

You can quote me. Talked to Will Hayes at GD a year or two back, and the Beetleback is planned to be the base, though updated like the Warhound and Reaver were. The art in this pic is good, but I have higher hopes for FW's take on the Warlord, cleaning up the design and making it look more functional. Remember, the Reaver arms and carapace weapons are meant to be compatible with the Warlord.

Looks like a redo of an original piece from Adeptus Titanicus, which if memory serves was of a Warlord hauling itself up by a building and blind siding it's opponent, as civvies fled in the foreground.

Probably. I'm still waiting for the carapace mounts we drew concepts for to come out. I still have those little drawings somewhere. And you may be hallucinating, but not about this :p
