Stupid question about transports

So transports apparently increase the bubble size of standards and such, but I cannot find this in the rules. Where is it?

Bubble is measured from the model, 6" or 12" from the base of an 25mm infantry sized model, for instance. When that model is embarked in a transport the distance is measured from the hull of the vehicle. As even the smallest vehicle is 2-3x the size of a 25mm based model, the bubble gets a 1-2" bump. Make sense?
