Careful Planning and Drop Pod Assault

Does the requirement to bring 1/2 your Drop Pods in on Turn 1, per "Drop Pod Assault", count towards your total reserves you can bring in under "Careful Planning" ? Meaning do I get to bring in 1/2 my Drop Pods, PLUS 1/2 of all my other reserves because I have Careful Planning?

Half plus Half.
The 1/2 Drop Pods does not count towards the Careful Planning pods.
The other remaining portion of your army may choose to either use Planning, or wait.

If 1/4 was in Drop Pods, and 3/4 without...
- 1/8 of the Pods may come in via Assault
- 3.5/8 of the remainder of the army may come in via Planning. Note that this could include the 1/8 remaining pods... but WwwwhHHwHHy?
