It has finally happened...a terminator who didn't leave his pistol at home

I discovered tonight that Njal in Terminator armor appears to be able to keep his bolt pistol. Is this accurate or did I miss something?

No, it's accurate. You'll note that he doesn't get a storm bolter, though.

I guess somewhere there's an entry in the Codex Astartes where Roboute Guilliman talks about how he doesn't like bolt pistols eh? ;)

A pistol on a terminator is kinda like a cage fighter taking a whiffle-ball bat into the ring, isn't it? So you have an extra weapon. . .what's the point? Just give him another attack!

I actually dislike this practice generally as it often makes characters look a bit worse than they are via their statlines. In Njal's case, he has the same volume of attacks regardless of what armor he uses.
