Please go easy on the acronyms when posting. For those unused to them, they can render a post unintelligible.

I know they save space and time when posting, but please, just like a professional letter if you must use them, put the full term followed by the acronym in brackets for the first use!

The problem is there is no consistency in acronyms, its such a big game with so many units and rules, you run out of things, LOS and LOS! for example! And the AC / AC thing.

Especially for newer players getting into the hobby, not only do they have to their get heads around the rule sets but if they do make their way to a forum such as our own, terms like "equipping a TDA with AC or HF is the way to go" are not only confusing but can come across a bit elitist too.

To put the topic back on track. ;) This was something that confused me as newcomer. I understand their use when typing out text as it is time saving but I couldn't for the life of me find anywhere that listed them all. Some even I could figure out or take an educated guess at but I didn't want to ask each member to decipher their posts as I thought that would get tiresome. Is there not a stickied thread for newcomers somewhere that could list all the commonly used acronyms perhaps? :)
