The few things that stand out to me are could you work some more highlights in there? i know the bronze is tough to clearly highlight but maybe use just straight gold or on the flip side use inverse and lowlight with Tin. The other thing is are the gun barrels drilled out? that's always a nice touch. Very bold color palette.

Thanks for the commits. I have no success in drilling the barrels out. I wanted a bold looking army so I painted them in Dwarf Bronze(GW):).

It's certainly an interesting color scheme.

I've always liked purple.

My only suggestion would be to perhaps make the bronzy gold a bit more gold. Yellow and Purple are compliments of each other and I think a bit more actual gold would really help the miniatures "pop" a bit more.

Like your marines mate, although for the black, especially for things like the vindicator, may I suggest using Codex or Adeptus Battlegrey and just put on about 3 coats of Badab Black wash. It basically black that naturally highlights itself and thanks to the wash brings out details.

I have to say the purple is looking awesome. How do you paint it?

Happy New Years too!

I started with Lich Purple and then several coats of dry brushed Warlock Purple. I will try your method.

It always looks like the models are sticky...I suppose thats just the highlighted areas though(I'm a very lazy painter)
I do love the colours. I would really like to here a backround story to this chapter.
