7th Armoured Division "Desert Rats"

Hi, I'm looking to start Flames of War with a Desert Rat army. What stuff from the website do I need to buy to be able to play with them?

It depends on how early you want to go. If you want mid-war then go with the "North Africa" book. Otherwise for early war you need the "Hellfire and Back" book. Of course, you also need the basic rulebook (3rd edition). Once you have settled on early or mid-war then look in the book to see what forces you want. They give you lots of choices from purely armoured to purely infantry and everything in between.

I find that the best approach is to see what other people are playing. If your local game store has a regular crowd that's really into Early War, I'd go with that. Nothing more frustrating than having an army with no opponents.
