I believe some of the reviews here are overstating the case. At the risk of sounding snobbish, I must point out that this is a fairly standard villages-vendange MS from a volume-oriented producer. Still, for al fresco quaffability on a budget it is hard to beat. And I hear that a number of Australian shiraz producers are quietly dosing some of their more muted vintages with it and perhaps there is no finer compliment than that. Anyway, here's a cork dork's tip to optimise your drinking experience: Double-decanting and some time to breathe will eventually produce a quite remarkable cluster of fungal notes around the rim.

So I was sent a link to this (http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B002ATI4VG/ref=cm_cr_dp_see_all_btm/276-8195743-9466345?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending) anyone else know of another product with such ridiculous reviews? :D

That's nice of them to group them in one place for you.

I particularly like this review of said product:

"When Gerard, my husband of thirty eight years, questioned my excessive use of Barrettine's Methylated Spirit, I told him that It's the most effective way to rid one's calligraphy brush of stubborn Indian Ink. However, if truth be known, the consumption of Barrettine is the ONLY effective relief I have found from this utterly nightmarish sham of a marriage. If only I could leave my husband and marry a 6ft bottle of Barrettine."

Zing.

I'm more concerned with their blatant tax dodging...

It was a quote from the review of bic ballpoints, should have made it clear...

A few days ago I stupidly lost the lid to my pen, I got onto Bic customer service to see if my pen was under warranty to see if they could send me a new one or simply replace my lid, the lady on the other end just laughed at me and hung up, this goes to show that the customer sevice for this company is not very good at all!
