and at work, people keep thinking I'm in my early 20's, so I figure if I lose some weight, I might actually look my age (37). SO losing weight is mine as well.

Actually choose a marine army and stick with it. I'm tempted by the new shiny DA, but still drawn to either Ultras or Blood Angels (again) or maybe an army painted in Death Watch colours and use any codex I feel like using.

• Finally start Battlefleet Gothic (... and Eldar, and Malifaux)
• Get the rest of the way to my weight goal (I've stalled out at halfway there, but I have a plan!)
• Complete the Independent Characters Hobby Progress Challenge, which will result in me having 1850 points of painted Blood Angels and Sisters of Battle.
• And also? I'm going to finally sell my buddy Jon's Orks.

I am going to repaint a company of Blood Angels.

They are going to be 3rd company under Tycho while he is still relatively sane in the years between The War for Armageddon II and III.

I have three major ones this year.

1) Be more selfish. More time for me and what I want rather than stretching myself thin for uncaring moochers.
2) Re-enter Magic the Gathering tourney circuits this year and prove I've still got my groove despite my age...
3) At least consider settling down with a willing woman.

...though I doubt the 3rd one will be considered beyond January :D

I also think that you need to rethink number 2, it is too general, you need to consider SMART goal settings.

What I mean is how do you know if you have continued to get fitter come 31st December?

You need a specific goal like, "I will increase my fitness so that I can reach level 11 in the bleep test by December 2013"

That way you have a specific measurable goal, that you can test you achivement with.
