Hey y'all, after a year of being away from the game I'm finally working on getting back on the table. The idea is that these alphas alternate color scheme is to confuse the enemy at a distance by resembling another blue chapter..

how did you do the blue damage effect on the gree, as if its a green layer of paints scraped off down to the base coat?

Before I painted the green on over the already weathered blues I spray the area with a water soluble hair spray. After the green and logo was painted on I take a stiff brush and warm water to poke at the edges and areas where I want a chipping effect. Since the layer of hairspray beneath will dissolve, the green flakes away. After I chip away what I want I seal it again in varnish.

Airbrushed the base coat and glazed the heretics this morning. Overall pretty happy with the way the color came out. I think I'll add some grime and tattoos where I can later.
