Never had the App nor did I ever want to.
Why not sell the images to advertisers after all they are giving you free storage for them.

It's more the 'yeah we're just going to change the T&Cs and you can't opt out beyond deleting'.
Really rather harsh.

Have you read the terms and conditions of the youtube app on your mobile?
Can use the camera to take pictures of where it is at any time...

Certainly, but at least it has been advertised, before hand and you get an opt out. I have had some services which have changed my Ts & Cs and they don't tell me till after it has been done or when I have no chance to do so. Like vodafone increasing prices on "fixed contracts"
