Okay, I just figured it would be a good Idea to create a place to tell some of the more fun stories of epic victories, crushing defeats, and hilarious antics in BFG. Everybody's got a few good stories to tell, here's the place to tell them.

Personally, I think my favorite story I have is of one of my first BFG battles ever. I had a Mars, a Dictator, a Strike Cruiser, and 9 Falchions. My opponent, a Necron player, had two Scythes and 9 escorts, 4 of type, 5 of the other (I don't know the names right off the top of my head). We were both fairly new. As the battle got started, he forgot to AAF in his first turn, and then, for the rest of the game, failed EVERY special order roll except one. I, on the other hand, managed to swat down his escorts in two turns, destroy one scythe (which took 2 Falcs with it, which was half of my entire casualties for the entire game) and boarded the other. We called it at that point, but it was fairly obvious, victorty was mine. Fun times.

I managed to once get 4 strike cruisers and a battlebarge at short range crossing the T of my opponents flagship (some kind of chaos battleship). I literally obliterated it in a single turn of shooting.

That was when he introduced his anti space marine lance heavy chaos fleet...

Having 3 Iconoclasts escorts cripple a full health Emperor battleship with its shields down.

The Flame of Asuryan (Spirit of Arina called in my fleet) as it destroyed a Battle Barge with the help of a single Hemlock in two turns.

Having a Leadership 10 Space Marine Strike Cruiser fail its reloads in four successive turns....

I just recently played my first game of Battlefleet Gothic. It was a cruiser clash, with the imperials using A Mars, a lunar, a gothic, and a dauntless. I played chaos with a Styx, a Devastation and 2 murders. The setup meant that we came at each other quickly, my fleet managed to slip between two ships on his left flank, and hit them with broadsides and massed attack craft waves. I managed to cripple one of his ships on the first past, and cause a plamsa reactor explosion as I swept around the back of his lunar for another pass.

It was a great intro to the game

One of my first few games a few years back, my freind's Nid fleet way really tightly packed, so I send my fleet straight into the middle of it to try and simple batter them down with broadsides. I got in and did a good bit of damage alround, however in my mate's turn, he concentrated all his fire on my first ship, setting off it's plasma drives, all our ships were so tightly packed that by the time the damage was done all the was left was to squadrons of escorts on one side of the board and my carrier on the other.
