Well I am sure if we flood the steel market we can bring that down, either that or nationalise all steel companies and get them for free :)

What is more concerning is it's displacement, it would have to be constructed in space and as it is built it would affect the gravitational fields around it, I suggest building it at L2 :D

The original was only 120km diameter, would that still affect?

I thought it was "moon sized" ah well, that would put it at about Astraea's size (117km average) not massive enough to collapse into a sphere and that is like 3x10^19 kg so probably not too significant to the earth or moon in that case, I am too sleepy to run the actual numbers
