Big shout out to energongoodie for this fantastic Christmas Hive Tyrant! Something as scary and imposing as a Hive Tyrant with fuzzy lights and a santa hat is just awesome!

Depends on the American Wolfshade, and which kind of Aussie accent. The "light" one famously led to a certain Australian athlete being asked by an American lady "what state she was from".
Full-on bogan accent though, don't even try. I can only do that if I really deepen my voice, and it does nothing but make people laugh. Though I guess that is the point.

I think with doing accent impersinations most people can do a passable one as long as it is not heard by a native speaker.

Yeah that is certainly true, a good example is Inception - in the scene where Eames is studying Browning, one of the individuals in the room talks with what seems a convincing Aussie accent. Hearing it myself though, it seems really forced, though maybe that is just me.

On the flip side, some reviews for TDKR (only example I can think of at the moment lol) complained about Gordon-Levitt's (John Blake) inconsistent Eastern (I think) accent, though I never really noticed it.

Never bothered watching the show, never really piqued my interest. That didn't stop my family of course. I remember hearing him talking quite a bit though. When I realized he was a British actor, appropriately, my head exploded.
Gary Oldman is a chameleon, listen to him normally then play through any of the Treyarch (excluding CoD3) developed CoD games. You literally cannot tell it is him.
