ok guys here is the thing.

mk VI FW only army, mentor legion (not mentors).

i will be getting the newe master of the signal this week and making him MK VI for brother orinnoco (http://www.solegends.com/citrt/rt01spacemarineswd938709.jpg) :) (cookie for those that remember him)

but looking at the new volkite clobber do you think these (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Images/Product/DefaultFW/large/volkite-calivers.jpg) could be passed off as these (http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9ifz5d99b1r6bbo7o1_1280.jpg)

just the old plasmas from the space ork set are like rocking horse guano, as much as i would love them i am not paying £5+ per plasma gun on ebay

nope the 1st ones i linked are volkite guns, and the pic from the HH art book TC game are the old style plasmas that used to come in the space ork sets. plasma blasters are twin linked plasma guns, there was until the HH books only one guy who had one and that was captain invictus of the ultramarines.

at present my options are to buy a sprue (OOP) from ebay for £12 just for one gun which i am not gonna do, i already payed £3 for a gun that got lost in the mail..... i was gonna insta mold that though.

im just hoping that FW will do a plasma set like the volkite ones just to save me time and money. plus all the old timers like me will eat them up for nostalgia :)
