Friends, I am tweaking my new First Legion army. Please look over this 1850 Deathwing army and give me any critiques or suggestions you can.

This is meant to be an all-comers list. The four squads of Deathwing Terminators are meant to teleport in and take objectives. The Landraider Redeemer is there to kill infantry and get one Termie squad into position. The Devestators are there to deal with enemy armor. The Whirlwind is there to blast infantry out of cover. The Aegis defense line is there to give me access to the Quad Gun and the Quad Gun is there is suppress enemy aircraft. The Librarian is the cheapest allied HQ I could take, same for the Scout Snipers. I took them to give me access to the Land Raider Redeemer (which isn't in the Dark Angel codex).

One more thing: my basic load out on the Deathwing is Sergeant with a power sword, two thunder hammer/storm shields, 1 lightning claw, and one power fist per team. Two teams get Cyclone missile launchers, one team gets an Assault Cannon, and one team gets a Heavy Flamer. So the Deathwing are very focused on close combat...

The first (and largest) problem is this: you can't embark on allied transports. Furthermore, putting a deathwing squad in a land raider seems like a poor choice, since land raiders have no fire points and you're missing out on all that shooting.

I like the fact that you've got a strong force on the table turn one. That will stop you from coming in piecemeal and being taken apart squad by sqad, the way I took apart the last Deathwing army I faced.
